The first of a new series of paintings for 2021. Here you see a representation of Sheffield's John Lewis department store (aka Cole Brother's), which never reopened its doors after the last COVID-19 lockdown ended and has now permanently closed. On the windows you can see an array of heartfelt heart-shaped cards, people filled photographs, memories and messages from customers and staff, present and past.
