The painting is deliberately dark. A mood piece and an experiment in tone. Similar to my painting 'Spectre' (to be posted in the next day/2).
The painting: It's night time. An incredibly dark scene shows the entrance to a large prefabricated retail warehouse. All of the painting is in the darkest of tones. A large tarmacked area is in front of the entrance, a car park. Concrete bollards block the way into the space. Through some windows can be seen an electric blue light. the whole place appears devoid of life.
