The painting: On a brick wall are two frames that used to hold nightclub promotion posters. Instead of posters, you can see the backing boards in various states of wear. The board on the left has the words, "Glasgow, Celtic, Jock, EHoose". The board on the right has white writing over a black background. And, the board in the middle says, "We never got those drinks did we? ♡ "

Seen on the side of Sheffield's Dempsey's nightclub from the first lockdown in 2020, to be covered over later in 2021. There are times to comment, and then there are times not to. With feeling so achingly poignant, I'm going to do the latter as I have nothing more to say.
